Field Notes
A downloadable game
Description
A wildlife forensics investigator who visits an isolated area of the Appalachians to find evidence of animal attacks and to determine the real story behind a supposed cryptid.
This game was submitted to The Bring Out Your Ghost jam to showcase abandoned projects as a way to show the game development process. I tried to make something playable to submit but it just wasn't ready.
Helpful Resources along the way

- HiEv's Twine 2 / SugarCube 2 Sample Code
- Chapel's Custom Macros

- and The Neo-Interactives Discord for answering all of my questions and being so detailed with their answers, that I learned even more than what I was asking.
Feedback Inquiry
- I have thought about incorporating a resource management system, similar to survival games, in addition to gathering evidence. Would that make the game too complicated?
- Should I do separate quick cases of cryptids or one longer case?
- Should it be more horror or mystery-based? What kind of things should be incorporated?
